Liulichang- Antique Street
Liulichang is known throughout China and the world for its ancient books, calligraphy, paintings, rubbings, ink stones and ink. Hundreds of art supply stores are lined up along 750m Long Street. It is always calm and quiet and the ambiance brings you back to the old China.
i.Appreciate the best paintings and calligraphies in Rongbaozhai.
ii.Watch the art crafters making the soft brush at the spot and find out how to select brushes.
iii.Be around the artist while they painting, carving and writing the traditional calligraphy .You also could ask them to do an art works especially for you at quite reasonable price.
iv.Wandering in various art stores, antiques, paintings , carvings Chinese potteries to find a special souvenir or just window shopping

Dashila Shopping Street
The oldest commercial street in the city, the time-honored stores serve as various museum of Chinese traditional folk cultures.
i.Go visit Tong Ren Tang; a world-renowned Chinese drug store established in 1669, you seem wander in the museum of traditional Chinese medicine.
ii.The scent of jasmine tea in Zhangyiyuan, a tea shop with a hundred years history can be smelled down the street.
iii.The incredible selection of exquisite silk, brocade and satin-silk hide in Ruifuxiang, one of the oldest and most well-known silk stores.
iv.The tiny man-made shoes, hats and scissors and other things you could find in this street are not only practical products but also aircrafts with strong local flavor. .
Qianmendajie
It is the busiest and most famous business street during the late19th and the early 20th century. Take the tram down the 800m long street and enjoy some Beijing food at one of the time honored brand restaurants.
